Dr. Russell Green PT, DPT

Dr. Russell Green PT, DPT, CHDN attended The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, earning his undergraduate degree in Exercise Sports Science in 2016. During his four years in undergraduate studies, Dr. Green started for The Cru’s Men’s Basketball team each year. In 2013 The Cru competed for the Division III Men’s Basketball National Championship. Following his undergraduate studies and collegiate basketball career, he attended The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor’s DPT program, earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2018. After graduation Dr. Green worked for Baylor Scott and White in outpatient orthopaedics as well as covering weekends at McLane Children’s Hospital. In September of 2020, Dr. Green joined the staff at Magnolia Physical Therapy and in 2023 took over ownership of the clinic. He has a passion to work with patients of all ages ranging from babies reaching milestones to seniors rehabbing from surgeries or wanting to become more active. He is trained in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and is Dry Needling Certified (CHDN). Dr. Green is always eager to learn new techniques and skills to provide the highest quality of care and treatments for his patients. It is his belief that no matter the deficit, there is always room to improve!

Dr. Green resides in Magnolia with his wife Macy, daughter Grace, son Tucker, and their pug Decker. His wife is currently a teacher at Magnolia High School. She also played collegiate basketball at UMHB where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Math/Education and her Masters of Science in Education. In his spare time Dr. Green enjoys fishing on the coast, hunting, spending time on the lake wake surfing, and working on projects around the house. Needless to say, grass does not grow under his feet!
